Refund and Returns Policy (EU)

1. Introduction / Scope
This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all properties listed on Nord Sud Casa Vacanza—both properties directly managed by Nord Sud Casa Vacanza Snc and those listed by Third-Party Hosts / Advertisers on the platform.
Rules may vary depending on the property and the Host.
2. Deposit / Advance Payment
- A 30% deposit is required upon booking. This deposit is always non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- The remaining balance is due according to the Host’s deadlines:
- For properties managed by Nord Sud Casa Vacanza, the balance is due 30 days before arrival.
- For Third-Party Hosts / Advertisers, the balance is generally due 14, 21, or 30 days before arrival, depending on the Host’s rules.
3. Cancellation by the Guest
- The deposit is never refundable.
- Any balance already paid may be fully or partially refunded based on the specific property conditions and the Host’s cancellation notice periods.
- In case of a no-show after the notice period deadline, the booking balance is always due.
4. Cancellation by the Host / Platform
- If the property is cancelled by the Host or Nord Sud Casa Vacanza, the guest will receive a full refund of the deposit and any balance paid, or an equivalent alternative (e.g., another property) will be offered.
5. No-Show Policy
- If the guest fails to arrive without prior notice, no refund will be issued, including the deposit and any balance paid.
6. Property Damages and Issues
- Any damages or malfunctions during the booking (e.g., gas leaks, broken pipes, power outages, or other issues) are the sole responsibility of the Host / Advertiser for properties listed by them.
- Nord Sud Casa Vacanza Snc is not responsible for any damages or issues occurring in properties managed by third-party Hosts.
7. Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used by the guest.
- The estimated processing time is 7–14 business days, depending on the payment method.
8. Exceptions / Force Majeure
- Extraordinary events such as natural disasters, legal restrictions, or forced closures will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with full refunds or alternative solutions offered where possible.
